Sustainability is central to our approach.
We use organic farming methods and minimal intervention in the winemaking process to ensure that our wines are a true expression of the land. We want our wine to be not just a product but a narrative—a story of the land, the climate, and the people who bring them to life.
In 1980, Pietro Vito, a visionary with a profound love for viticulture, established our winery in the heart of Bolzano. At the time, the region was known for its small, family-owned vineyards, and Pietro saw an opportunity to create something truly special.
Inheriting the Legacy
With a small plot of land and an unwavering commitment to quality, the first vines were planted. The early years were marked by hard work and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
Innovation Meets Tradition
Pietro focused on cultivating grape varieties that would thrive in the unique microclimate of Bolzano, laying the groundwork for the future.
By the year 2005, the winery had grown significantly. This period was marked by a series of expansions, both in the vineyard and in the cellar.
The expansion
The winery acquired additional land, allowing for the cultivation of new grape varieties and the introduction of innovative winemaking techniques.
New vision
During this time, the second generation of the family took the reins, bringing fresh ideas and a modern approach to the business. The focus was on balancing tradition with innovation—maintaining the integrity of our heritage while embracing new technologies to enhance the quality of our wines.
Global sustainability
The decade leading up to 2020 was a transformative period for the winery. As the global wine market evolved, so did our approach. We began to focus more intensely on sustainability, not just as a practice, but as a philosophy that would guide every aspect of our operations.Etiam faucibus dolor eget orci ullamcorper dignissim.
A different approach
Organic farming practices were fully integrated, and our commitment to minimal intervention in the winemaking process became a defining characteristic of our wines.
